Last modified: 2018-01-24 15:14:50 UTC
I using gnome-contacts with google online account also when I open gnome-contacts then gnome-contacts start use two or more cpu between %80 ~ %100 but when gnome-contacts open and start also show my contac then all system come back to normal [e-diablo@homless ~]$ gnome-contacts (gnome-contacts:6697): Gtk-CRITICAL **: gtk_list_store_insert_before: assertion 'iter_is_valid (sibling, list_store)' failed (gnome-contacts:6697): Gtk-CRITICAL **: gtk_list_store_set_valist: assertion 'iter_is_valid (iter, list_store)' failed (gnome-contacts:6697): Gtk-CRITICAL **: gtk_list_store_insert_before: assertion 'iter_is_valid (sibling, list_store)' failed (gnome-contacts:6697): Gtk-CRITICAL **: gtk_list_store_set_valist: assertion 'iter_is_valid (iter, list_store)' failed (gnome-contacts:6697): Gtk-CRITICAL **: gtk_list_store_insert_before: assertion 'iter_is_valid (sibling, list_store)' failed (gnome-contacts:6697): Gtk-CRITICAL **: gtk_list_store_set_valist: assertion 'iter_is_valid (iter, list_store)' failed (gnome-contacts:6697): Gtk-CRITICAL **: gtk_list_store_insert_before: assertion 'iter_is_valid (sibling, list_store)' failed (gnome-contacts:6697): Gtk-CRITICAL **: gtk_list_store_set_valist: assertion 'iter_is_valid (iter, list_store)' failed (gnome-contacts:6697): Gtk-CRITICAL **: gtk_list_store_insert_before: assertion 'iter_is_valid (sibling, list_store)' failed (gnome-contacts:6697): Gtk-CRITICAL **: gtk_list_store_set_valist: assertion 'iter_is_valid (iter, list_store)' failed
Why I don't know but my idea I have some sync problem with google.

I get that output [e-diablo@homless ~]$ folks-inspect bash: folks-inspect: command not found... Install package 'folks-tools' to provide command 'folks-inspect'? [N/y] y * Waiting in queue... * Waiting in queue... * Waiting for authentication... * Waiting in queue... * Downloading packages... * Requesting data... * Testing changes... * Installing packages... > [e-diablo@homless ~]$ folks-inspect > (folks-inspect:3970): folks-WARNING **: Failed to find primary PersonaStore with type ID 'eds' and ID '1424537898.2458.6@homless'. Individuals will not be linked properly and creating new links between Personas will not work. The configured primary PersonaStore's backend may not be installed. If you are unsure, check with your distribution.

Anyway Contacts should handle the situation better.

Ertan, what’s the output of this command? $ gsettings get org.freedesktop.folks primary-store It looks like you’ve got some stale configuration which is telling libfolks to use a non-existent EDS address book as its primary persona store.
