Description Tobias Getzner 2014-05-19 10:30:59 UTC
When switching to full-screen in Vinagre 3.12.1, no full-screen toolbar appears when moving the cursor to the pertinent location. The toolbar seems to be invisible: Clicking into the area where the toolbar should be will exit fill-screen mode (if properly aimed).

vinagre 3.12.1
mutter 3.12.2
gtk 3.12.2

I have the same problem with 3.10.2 (from Fedora 20 repositories).
Comment 2 Hans Deragon 2014-12-28 10:57:37 UTC
Confirmed on Ubuntu 14.04 LTS Trusty Thar. Vinagre 3.10.2.

Comment 4 CL 2015-02-17 13:31:41 UTC
Confirmed here on 14.04 LTS Vinagre 3.10.2.
Comment 5 Fran 2016-07-22 13:52:21 UTC
Same problem here with stock Fedora 24.
Comment 6 Andrea Zagli 2016-08-21 09:25:29 UTC
same here with each protocol; debian sid; vinagre version 3.18.2
Comment 7 David Novák 2016-10-26 14:03:26 UTC
Having same problem - vinagre version 3.20.2
Comment 8 Paul Pogonyshev 2016-11-09 17:10:51 UTC
This renders fullscreen mode almost useless, as there is no easy way to leave it. Ctrl+Alt+F1, logging in, and "$ killall vinagre" doesn't count as easy.
Comment 9 Fran 2016-11-09 22:27:29 UTC
You can always click on the area where the button should have been some 50 pixels to the left of the center. In my case it even shows the tooltip, so you know where you are clicking. Takes some practice but for me it is already a mostly painless workaround already.
Comment 10 Marek Kašík 2017-03-24 15:31:54 UTC
This is actually a bug in gtk-vnc. It was fixed in this commit: https://git.gnome.org/browse/gtk-vnc/commit/?id=3bbaa914d9bfafaf5a4d78867a578bddf5fc9134 (0.5.4 and later).

Be aware that there is a very similar bug in vinagre which has not been fixed yet (see #770484).
