GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 67866
Javascript window.resizeTo() method fails to resize the window
Last modified: 2011-02-14 13:05:58 UTC
I'm using the latest 1.0.2 debian package of Galeon. The following page contains a link which opens a popup window. A link in that target window should then increase the height/width of the window using the resizeTo() method. It appears that mozilla increases the area of the page but Galeon doesn't increase the size of the window to suit. Works fine in Mozilla/Netscape/IE. See: http://omnipotent.net/popuptest/
it looks like a bug in the embedding i've filled http://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=117756
have a look at the duplicate below for another testcase

Hi Guys.. From the duplicate above.. there is another test here: http://www.netbreeze.com.au/resizetest/ Click on shrink/grow to see it not shrink/grow. If you shrink first you can see the embedded widget shrink...

Thanks for taking the time to report this bug. However, you are using a version that is too old and not supported anymore. Galeon developers won't be fixing or back porting any fixes for this version. Please upgrade to latest stable Galeon version to receive bug fixes. We are sorry it could not be fixed for your version.
