When using the "recording video option", the first recorded video is saved and its thumbnail is generated without any problems. For subsequent video recordings, thumbnails are not generated any more. These are the messages shown in the terminal:

This bug appeared when Cheese switched from Theora to WebM, in commit b326fe35de561935213509d9bdce1a04756d77cb.

This does not seem to be a problem since at least 3.6.
