Description Akhil Laddha 2011-08-02 11:01:01 UTC
EWS + Exchange 2007

Once we start any operation like sync folder for offline or copy / move folder, we cann't cancel the operation in the middle.

It will be good to support cancellation if we want to cancel operation, which is taking long time, in the middle.

Similar downstream bug report, mentioning too long time till cancelled activity is really cancelled while receiving long mail (several megabytes), from 3.4.3:

Comment 2 André Klapper 2021-05-19 11:01:22 UTC
GNOME is going to shut down bugzilla.gnome.org in favor of gitlab.gnome.org.
As part of that, we are mass-closing older open tickets in bugzilla.gnome.org which have not seen updates for a longer time (resources are unfortunately quite limited so not every ticket can get handled).

If you can still reproduce the situation described in this ticket in a recent and supported software version, then please follow
  https://wiki.gnome.org/Community/GettingInTouch/BugReportingGuidelines
and create a new ticket at
  https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/evolution-ews/-/issues/

Thank you for your understanding and your help.
