Description Michael Martin-Smucker 2010-12-16 03:01:47 UTC
Once you've set criteria that a smart playlist needs to match, it seems to be impossible to remove it. For example:

1. Create a new smart playlist titled 'Test'
2. Turn on the "Limit to 25 items selected by Most Often Played" option
3. Set the "match" criteria to something that will obviously exclude entries that would otherwise be in your top 25. Something like 'qqq' should work.
4. Save the playlist.
5. Edit the smart playlist, and uncheck the "match" box, so the only remaining criteria is "limit to 25..."
6. Save the changes to your smart playlist.

At this point, you would expect some songs to show up in your smart playlist, but that isn't the case. This is on a 1.9.0 build -- I haven't tested it on my git build yet, but I don't remember seeing anything like this fixed recently.

This problem has been fixed in the development version. The fix will be available in the next major software release. Thank you for your bug report.
