Description James 2010-10-25 19:52:58 UTC
The gedit encrypt/decrypt functions provided by seahorse-plugins prompt for a
passphrase, even when this has been cached by seahorse-daemon and unlocked by
the login keyring. No other applications (evolution, gpg) raise a prompt for
this passphrase.

seahorse-plugins is not under active development anymore:
https://gitlab.gnome.org/Infrastructure/Infrastructure/issues/257

It had its last code changes many years ago:

Closing this report as WONTFIX as part of Bugzilla Housekeeping to reflect
reality. Please feel free to reopen this ticket (or rather transfer the project
to GNOME Gitlab, as GNOME Bugzilla is deprecated) if anyone takes the
responsibility for active development again.
