Description David Richards 2010-08-31 18:17:34 UTC
Users are going to use the zoom feature often to viewing possibly hundreds of pages of thumbnails and will want to zoom in and out frequently. Right now you can use the pulldowns to change the size one increment at a time. You can also control-spin-middle mouse wheel. The later option is obscure and not easily discovered or used by our staff. I am therefore requesting a slider bar that goes from 10-100% and is easily seen in the UI.

Examples of this are found in OpenOffice in all modules and this is used frequently.

Note that you can use the keyboard shortcuts too -- ctrl +, ctrl -, and ctrl 0 I believe (see the View menu). And all of these methods are documented in our user guide (F1) :)

But I like the idea of a slider too.

This problem has been fixed in the development version. The fix will be available in the next major software release. Thank you for your bug report.
