Description Chow Loong Jin 2010-07-26 17:21:20 UTC
The proprietary amazonmp3 tool found at http://www.amazon.com/gp/dmusic/help/amd.html installs the amazonmp3.xml file to the same path, causing conflicts. Banshee should instead name this .xml file after itself, therefore avoiding conflicts with any other package.

I can confirm this problem and also a workaround. Uninstalling the Amazon MP3 package permits the installation of Banshee 1.7.3 to proceed normally on Karmic.
