Description Julian Lam 2009-07-21 02:45:31 UTC
Please describe the problem:

Binary package hint: evolution

Test scenario:
Copied and pasted some material from a website (for example, the search box on google.com) to a new message in evolution.

Highlighted and deleted the content, to see that the search box, submit button, and radio buttons remain. They are still interactable, but are NOT sent when the message is sent.

ProblemType: Bug
Architecture: amd64
DistroRelease: Ubuntu 9.04
NonfreeKernelModules: nvidia
Package: evolution 2.26.1-0ubuntu2
ProcEnviron:
 LANG=en_CA.UTF-8
 SHELL=/bin/bash
SourcePackage: evolution
Uname: Linux 2.6.28-11-generic x86_64

Steps to reproduce:
1. Copy material from a website that includes a form element (i.e. the search box on google.com)
2. Paste into a mail draft
3. Attempt to delete the appropriate content.

Actual results:
The form elements (search box and submit buttons) will remain, but will not be selectable (they are interactable, however).

They are not sent to the recipient.

Expected results:
All HTML elements should be deleted. It seems as though they are not selected (even when using "select all").

Does this happen every time?
Yes, without fail.
