Description Yannick Warnier 2009-06-04 01:40:56 UTC
It would be great, given the features of GNOME Subtitles right now, to have a way to translate audio as well, in the sense that podcasts (mp3, wav, ogg or whatever audio format playable in GNOME) might benefit from a written translation that can enable a vocal translation later on.

Right now it's a bit like saying "you can't translate audio because we want to show you something in this screen section and we can't and it would be ugly" :-)

Thanks for considering it.
I'm currently using version 0.7.2 in Ubuntu 8.10.

Thanks for the report. It sure makes sense, marking as NEW.

P.S. - A newer version of Gnome Subtitles is available, although you might need to update Ubuntu to use it.
