Description Ant Bryan 2009-02-20 20:53:54 UTC
The GGet extension for Epiphany only supports up to 2.24.

This patch by Christoph Wickert, adds 2.26/2.25 which is needed for the latest version of Fedora and other distributions.

Support Epiphany 2.26/2.25
Comment 2 Christoph Wickert 2009-02-20 22:24:30 UTC
Thanks for submitting my patch. The patch was only meant for Fedora, for upstream we only need to patch configure.ac. Updated patch attached.

You should now support 2.27 too, please modify and merge the patch.
Comment 5 Milos Jakubicek 2009-09-04 23:34:17 UTC
OK...a bit investigation revealed that this extension is in trouble much more, quoting from the preliminary release notes of epiphany 2.27:

"We also have new support for Seed (JavaScript) extensions. The Python support has been removed in its favour."

-> no python support means this extension is dead for now.

According to its developer, gget is not under active development anymore.

It is unlikely that there will be any further active development.

Closing this report as WONTFIX as part of Bugzilla Housekeeping - Please feel
free to reopen this bug report in the future if anyone takes the responsibility
for active development again.
