Description Pedro Villavicencio 2008-11-03 11:50:19 UTC
this report has been filed here:

https://bugs.edge.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-terminal/+bug/290777

"Gnome terminal has two options with the same hotkey in the edit menu. Both "Paste" and "Profile Preferences" share the letter "P". Previously, one could press "ALT+e" and then "P" to paste, now it is ambiguous and only selects between the two options.

Expected behavior: Paste contents of the clipboard buffer at current cursor position

Actual behavior: Selects either Paste or Profile Preferences"
Comment 1 Christian Persch 2008-11-03 12:52:30 UTC
This is not reproducible in either gnome-2-24 or svn trunk of gnome-terminal. (This has been fixed before 2.24.0 already, together with the fix for bug 535755.)
Comment 2 Christian Persch 2008-11-03 12:54:18 UTC
Sorry, I misread the original report. This is the Edit menu, not the context menu as in bug 535755.
Comment 3 Christian Persch 2008-11-03 13:04:08 UTC
Fixed on svn trunk. WONTFIX on gnome-2-24 due to string freeze.
