Description Duncan Lithgow 2008-10-15 17:38:22 UTC
(Reported on Launchpad at https://bugs.edge.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/evolution/+bug/283907)

It looks like the addressbook is corrupted, and that's bringing the whole thing down.

Distribution: Ubuntu 8.10 (intrepid)
Gnome Release: 2.24.0 2008-10-07 (Ubuntu)

Thanks for taking the time to report this bug.
This bug report isn't very useful because it doesn't describe the bug well. If you have time and can still reproduce the bug, please read http://bugzilla.gnome.org/bug-HOWTO.html and add a description of how to reproduce this bug.

You'll also need to add a stack trace; please see http://live.gnome.org/GettingTraces for more information about how to do so. Thanks in advance!

I'm waiting for the apport retracer service at launchpad which hopefully is going to give us an automatic retrace, setting this as incomplete until that.
Comment 2 Duncan Lithgow 2008-10-15 20:27:09 UTC
There isn't really anything to say about how to reproduce this. I didn't do anything - it just won't start. This all started with bug 556105 trying to create a new addressbook from inside Ekiga - neither have worked since.
