Description Cody Russell 2008-03-21 19:29:00 UTC
We get a lot of people dropping by #gtk-devel when they really mean to go to #gtk+. Someone today mentioned that he got the information about #gtk-devel from the website,

http://www.gtk.org/development.html

We should mention #gtk+ on there in some way, so that people go there first to ask general purpose questions.

I'm filing this against gtk+ because I can't find an appropriate Bugzilla entry, and there doesn't seem to be a relevant product component for this. Sorry if I missed something.

Proposed patch

This just adds a little paragraph under the gtk meeting section that says "don't go to #gtk-devel for general questions, go to #gtk+".

Should I also add a real IRC secction above somewhere?
