Description rawsausage 2008-03-06 20:40:36 UTC
The browse icon dialog assumes that the end user masters the directories the icons are stored (/usr/share/... AND the ones at ~). This is very bad. The icon chooser dialog should
- auto-probe for all existing icon sets
- present a set selection widget
- allow the user to select the widget similarly to now
- in case something was selected and the icon theme changed, the new selected icon should be corresponding icon (via the icon specification names system, whenever possible) from the new selected set

Widgets in libgnomeui are deprecated.
See bug 314423 for progress on getting a replacement into GTK+.
