GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 515399
AisleRiot (Spider 3 decks) looses track of some cards
Last modified: 2012-01-31 23:26:27 UTC
Please describe the problem: Hi, I'm one of the Fedora gnome-games maintainers and today we received this bug report. As I'm not sure if this actually is a bug I'm forwarding it upstream to let it be handled here. --- Often when finishing up the game there are cards "unmatched", for example all hearts except the Jack and the Jack of diamonds. It seems to happen only with picture cards (Jack, Queen, King). Even though the suit isn't complete, you can close the game this way. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): gnome-games-2.21.90-1.fc9.i386 How reproducible: Very often Steps to Reproduce: 1. Play Spider 3 suits to the end ------- Additional Comments From vonbrand@inf.utfsm.cl 2008-02-08 18:43 EST ------- Sorry, I seem to have misunderstood the rules. Playing around with the game, it looks like you can take any sequence King down to As out of the tableau, even if the suits don't match. This is different from classical Spider, is that OK? Steps to reproduce: Actual results: Expected results: Does this happen every time? Other information:
Re-assigning to default owner.
Just like bug 522747, this is probably a duplicate of bug 443307 (double-clicking on builds that have mixed suits would send them to the foundation).
Is the downstream bug still open? If so, can you ask the reporter to retest? If not, I think we can resolve this bug as a duplicate.
The downstream bug has long been closed, go ahead and close this as a dup.

This bug is being reassigned to the "general" component so we can close the aisleriot bugzilla component. Apologies for the mass email!
