I'm not an artist, but here a first attempt to make a tango icon for baobab. Furthermore this icon doesn't show the external hard disk device, which is icon theme dependent.

lapo and pbor on IRC suggested to make the icon less flat and to remove the black borders around the pie chart. Here is a new attempt (just a preview png). Lapo suggested also to use a different metaphor, like a folder on a balance, since the pie chart isn't clear enough for the user.

According to Lapo's advices I want to change a bit colours, but these days I have very few time to work on the icon. Anyway, not a big problem, since we are now in UI freeze.

the UI freeze is in effect, so you'll need to ask for a freeze break to apply the icon.

I think it's safer to punt this for the next development cycle.

Fabio, the icons need some more love (mainly the smallest ones) and I didn't implement all suggestions Lapo gave me on IRC. I really have very few spare time these days, so if there is around any artist who wants to give some help :)

Here are tango style gnome icons designed by the astounding Lapo Calamandrei.  It would be really great if we get these in for the 3.0 release.  License: LGPLv3/CCBYSA3.  Thanks!
