Description Pedro Villavicencio 2007-08-16 13:52:11 UTC
This bug has been filled here:

https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/rhythmbox/+bug/132914

"Binary package hint: rhythmbox

0.11.1-0ubuntu3

It would be great if, when dragging a song to the ipod which has a lyric downloaded from rhythmbox, and also when looking for the lyric for a song on the ipod, the lyric could be transferred to the ipod, so it is possible to view it from the ipod interface."

When a song has lyrics in its ID3 tag, it seems there's just a flag to change in the libgpod Itdb_Track structure to get the ipod to use it.

Adding self to CC list for this and related Bug 463978 for reading the lyrics.

I would be particularly interested for "lyrics" with mixed character sets (e.g. language course podcasts with a transcript in both languages stored in the lyrics).

This would be a great addition!! :)
Rhythmbox do not add the lyrics, even when the lyrics are found and stored. It copied the lyrics if you have added it in the ID3 tag, but rhythmbox is having problems with this..
