Description Matthew Barnes 2007-08-09 14:38:13 UTC
Forwarding from a downstream bug report:
http://bugzilla.redhat.com/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=251461

Using evolution with an Exchange mailbox illustrates this well, because it's a
bit slower.

I move 1 message from an Exchange mailbox to a local mailbox, then start moving
a second message from an Exchange mailbox to a local mailbox. I do this by
dragging and dropping.

If the first move completes before I have released the left mouse button for the
second move, the cursor stays as the "Move" cursor, permanently. I can't use my
mouse for anything else any more - for anything - clicking no longer works.

The workaround is to Ctrl+Alt+F1, then login, then kill evolution, and Ctrl+Alt+F7.

Sounds like this might be an ETable or ETree issue.
Comment 2 Matthew Barnes 2008-03-11 00:35:32 UTC
Bumping version to a stable release.

Comment 4 Akhil Laddha 2011-10-13 05:59:34 UTC
Can you please check again whether this issue still happens in Evolution 3.0.3 or 3.2.0 and update this report by adding a comment and changing the "Version"
field? Thanks a lot.
Comment 5 Akhil Laddha 2011-11-24 06:05:03 UTC
Please feel free to reopen the bug if the problem still occurs with a newer
version of Evolution.
