Description Sam Morris 2007-06-10 13:52:12 UTC
Please describe the problem:
In the Find in Message feature, the search term input widget and the Next button both use Alt+N as their shortcut key.

Steps to reproduce:
1. Open a message
2. Press Ctrl+Shift+F
3. Enter a search term that occurs in the message more than once
4. Press Enter
5. Press Alt+N. Instead of going to the next occurrence of the search term, focus switches between the search term input widget and the Next button.

Actual results:

Expected results:

Does this happen every time?

Confirming. Probably the best idea is removing the shortcut from the input widget, but, let's see what the evolution maintainers will say about it, thanks for your report.

Change the mnemonic on Find to d

I have attached a patch to change the mnemonic on "Find" to the d - this resolves the conflict so both the next button and input box can be access via the keyboard

Bug reference in ChangeLog can be there. You can commit to trunk. (Btw, I realized that "Next" button doesn't work, but it's for other bug...)
