I can reproduce this.
Created attachment 88997 [details] [review] patch With this patch, I cannot reproduce this anymore. (The change to dialog.c is an unrelated fix I just happened to run into while looking at this.)
This is fixed in svn trunk, but maybe you want to take this patch on the gnome-2-18 branch for 2.18.3 ?
No new releases for the 2.18.x branch of gnome are planned. Closing.
