Description Sebastien Bacher 2007-05-22 16:12:07 UTC
The bug has been opened on https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/epiphany-browser/+bug/71078

"When I click on a subject-bookmark in the toolbar of epiphany is sometimes stays pressed.
I've attached a screenshot to tell what I mean. So the submenu is gone, but the button
isn't unpressed.

How to trigger:

1. Click on a bookmark menu.
2. Middle click on a item to open it in a new tab
3. Repeat this multiple times

When a previous selected bookmark is still loading, I get the greatest change of getting this
hanging button"

Can you please check if this problem still exists in Epiphany 2.19.2?
I suspect the patch to bug 363848 may have solved it.

new comment from the ubuntu bug submitter

"Running gnome 2.20 (gutsy) right now. The problem isn't gone. I've got a new screenshot, but that wouldn't add any new information."
Comment 5 Diego Escalante Urrelo (not reading bugmail) 2007-09-24 20:23:56 UTC
The problem is that the popup dissapears when the tabs in the back recall focus, however the button is not restored to !pressed.

Hi, does this still happen with 3.0?
Comment 7 Akhil Laddha 2011-08-08 04:03:01 UTC
Please feel free to reopen this bug if the problem still occurs with a newer
version of epiphany 3.0.x, tia.
