Sometimes you want to backup content that won't fit on a single disk (Flac collection, personal picture archive…)

It would be great if brasero auto-split this kind of request on several disks

That's a great feature. Hard to do perhaps but indeed very interesting if also coupled with some compression.

bump ... there are currently no nice gui tools to allow this and both windows and OSX allows the user to do this...

Since the application already calculates the required disc space, it should be a minor issue to simply divide the total required space with the medium capacity and queue the iso generation accordingly...

Thanks for your patience. Changes have been made and now brasero can do what you requested, though it might be crude. I'd call this "dump and burn": dump all data you want to burn in the appropriate project (video, data, audio) and if it doesn't fit on the inserted disc, brasero will offer you the possibility to burn it across several media.
