I'm not sure that all bugs marked as dupes here are the same. Note that in some cases (for example bug #457956) the crash comes after connecting to a network. In my case (bug #442752), it reliably happens just on seeing the SSID in the air. Or maybe they're the same root problem triggered by different situations. On my system, the issue appears to be with seeing an SSID which looks like "http://mattdm.org/" in ASCII.

Yeah. For at least some of these crashes, the probem is the "/" in the SSID gets put into a dbus path, which is a no-no.

Thank you all for taking the time to report this bug. Unfortunately, all that stack traces are missing some elements that will help a lot to solve the problem, so it will be hard for the developers to fix that crash. Can someone get us a stack trace with debugging symbols? Please see http://live.gnome.org/GettingTraces for more information on how to do so and reopen this bug or report a new one. Thanks in advance!
