Description muz 2006-12-20 11:20:49 UTC
A "translator mode" would be great. In translator mode the screen splits in two sides. U can load the original subtitle in the left side and the translated subtitle on the other. This helps speed up translation of subtitles.

This is a priority feature and is already on the TODO list.

Besides the additional column for the translations, other interface elements have to be taken into account, mostly when it comes to file saving and opening. There was some debate about this on the mailing list.

Currently development is focused on video previewing, so this won't make it for the next release.

I'm very glad to be closing this bug. This was a much needed feature and is now present in the trunk.

Support for translation includes an extra edition box and column, as well as a complete integration with the file saving/opening, undo/redo and overall GUI functionality.
