What were you doing when the application crashed?
Clicked on the "Import" button while the drivers were "10 pixels" from being completly loaded. (Canon S1 IS camera plugged to USB).

Thanks for taking the time to report this bug. However, it appears to be a libgphoto bug rather than a gthumb bug. libgphoto does not track its bugs in the GNOME Bugzilla. We kindly ask you to report the bug to the application authors at http://sourceforge.net/tracker/?group_id=8874&atid=108874.
