Description Alexander Larsson 2006-10-11 18:39:06 UTC
As seen in:
https://bugzilla.redhat.com/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=210253

nautilus-sendto passwes uris to gnome-obex-send, but that expects to get filenames.

(adding more details - I didn't find this immediately in a bugzilla search)

Manifests itself as:
1) right click on file, Send To..., bluetooth device
2) remote bluetooth device appears to accept connection, but then "looses connection"
3) nautilus-sendto reports "Error (gnome-obex-send) Unable to read the file 'file://<filename>'

Using 'gnome-obex-send -d <btaddr> <filename>' on the commandline works fine.

This unfortunately cripples sending files from nautilus via bluetooth.

hi can you confirm bug 372454 fixes the problem
Comment 3 Bastien Nocera 2007-03-06 01:23:55 UTC
Closing. You need gnome-bluetooth 0.8 for this to work, poke your distribution to get an updated version.
