GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 358771
Print preview different than PDF/PS output
Last modified: 2007-03-20 01:23:45 UTC
Please describe the problem: The gnumeric print preview feature displays a document differently that the actual PDF/PS produced when printing. Steps to reproduce: 1. Open the file I attached using gnumeric. 2. File->Print Preview. Observe that each month in the calendar is on its own page. No months are split across two pages. 3. Print the file to PostScript and PDF. Notice that the months now span pages. Actual results: Print preview displays each month on its own page. Actually printing the file results in months that are split across multiple pages. Expected results: Print preview should match printed output exactly. Does this happen every time? Yes. Other information: libgnomeprintui 2.12.1

This has been fixed in the development version with the first jump to GtkPrintOperation. (Of course currently most of the other previously working print features are disabled.) This fix will be in the next major release.
