GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 356523
Evolution won't send inline images with spaces in name
Last modified: 2009-07-24 12:43:02 UTC
That bug has been opened on https://launchpad.net/distros/ubuntu/+source/evolution/+bug/60269 "Binary package hint: evolution Evolution has a problem if an image or the folder of the image contains a space in the name. The image is not stored when the message is saved as a draft, and the image is not send. This is only a problem if the image is placed in the message. Those images as an attachment is no problem. To test it: Create a file like: "test test.jpg" or jpg files in a folder with a space, like: "test test". Start a new e-mail message, add those jpg files in the message. You can send it ofcourse, or you can save it as a draft, en see how it looks in the Draft folder with the preview (but don't open it). Workaround: Remove spaces from the names of the images, or send them as an attachment. Evolution: 2.6.1 Ubuntu: Dapper kind regarts, jdo"
