GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 351538
Avoid bold fonts in treeview
Last modified: 2006-09-09 16:24:34 UTC
The treeview uses lots of bold fonts, with no apparent reason. Please don't clutter the UI like this!
also, see bug #351185
> The treeview uses lots of bold fonts, with no apparent reason. There is an important reason for that. When you launch a scan, only the fully-scanned folders will be shown in bold fonts. A folder not fully-scanned is shown in normal font, so you can have a visual feedback about where is your scanning process and where it ended up if stopped before end.
There's also a "<== scanning" to point out which parts have been scanned. My proposal is this: - Don't use bold fonts at all - Change "%s <== scanning..." to "%s (scanning)" Btw, the absence of values in the 2 right columns (size and number of objects) also indicate which parts have not been scanned.
A patch was committed to CVS HEAD. The "<== scanning" text was removed from the folder name column. "Scanning..." is displayed in the size and item columns.
