the msgid translator-credits shows up in the about dialog.
You should either make the translators translate it, or don't 
show that tab

Ah; there was a mixup between translator-credits and translator_credits leading to translator-credits being displayed instead of "No translation" with the C locale. It is now fixed in HEAD and in the gnome-2-14 branch.
