Description Marcin Zajaczkowski 2006-06-04 19:51:03 UTC
Please describe the problem:
Volume sliders in open gnome-volume-control in specific situaction don't refresh correctly. When volume level reach 0% slider keeps last position and is marked as muted. After another change slider doesn't move and remains muted.

Steps to reproduce:
1. Open gnome-volume-control
2. Make sure that specific property (like Wave, PCM, Wave Surrond, ...) has higher level than 0%
3. Using another g-v-c or amixer (e.g. "amixer -q set 'Wave' 0%") change its level to 0%
4. Set not zero level

Actual results:
After third step slider has previous value and is marked as muted. After fourth step it remains unchanged.

Expected results:
After fourth step slider should be properly refreshed.

Does this happen every time?
Yes.

Other information:
Tested with gnome-media 2.14.0 and 2.14.2 in Fedora Core 5. In gnome-media 2.8.0 from FC3 it worked properly.
