Description why-y 2006-05-02 11:29:45 UTC
Steps to reproduce:
1. Open properties dialog of gnome panel
2. change size to "50"
3. mark the background checkbox
4. make the panel transparent
5. try to restart gnome session.
6. It either freezes (->cold start required)
or it crashes (-> Xorg/gdm gets restarted automatically)

Stack trace:
where to get from?

Other information:
I can fix it by either change back the panel size to <=30 or by change its
opacity to the max. value "65535" in ~/.gconf/apps/panel/top..../%gconf.xml

It's 100% reproducable.

I'm using Xorg7.0.

Not nice.
What's your distribution/OS?
