Description David Woodhouse 2006-04-29 20:44:00 UTC
Please describe the problem:
When I press the Ctrl-U to undelete a message which I accidentally deleted, it
no longer seems to work. Not only that, but I can't actually find 'undelete'
anywhere in the menus. The only thing that seems to work is to mark it as
unread, then click on another mail, then click back on the original mail again
so it gets marked as read.

Steps to reproduce:
1. Accidentally delete a mail you didn't mean to
2. Click on it again an hit Ctrl-U
3. Blink, be confused at the new window which appears.

Actual results:
When using Evolution 2.2, all works as intended. The mail is undeleted.
When using Evolution 2.6, a new window opens to show the mail, which remains
stubbornly deleted.

Expected results:
As with Evolution 2.2.

Does this happen every time?
Yes.

it is control+shift+d now, because control+d is delete and the HIG recommends to use shift for undo functions. it's in the "edit" main menu and the context menu.

control+u is now "show message source" as in thunderbird or firefox.

hmm...closing as notabug, please reopen if i misunderstood something... :-)
