Description Baptiste Mille-Mathias 2006-02-08 20:51:32 UTC
I put a CD into my drive and S-J was launched, but the title of the CD was not discovered.
I launched Rhythmbox 0.9.3.1 and it discovered the title.

The CD is a CD offered in a Music magazine issued today.

I don't know what to say more, and what could help you.

feel free to ask any question, I'll be happy to help you, say hello to Henry.

I have got the same problem.

Rhythmbox 0.9.3.1 gets the disc info for Frank Zappa's Cheap Thrills, but Sound-Juicer 2.13.4 doesn't (it didn't find the info for other discs before) - I searched MusicBrainz and found the info for the CD.

Can you try this with 2.13.6, I've turned off caching.
Comment 3 John Thacker 2006-03-03 06:49:09 UTC
I've definitely seen some CDs recently that Rhythmbox 0.9.3.1 gets info for but sound-juicer 2.13.6 does not. However, most of those fall into the category of being present in FreeDB (which I believe that Rhythmbox uses freedb for lookups) and if they are in MusicBrainz, then they appear without DiscID info.

Closing this bug report as no further information has been provided. Baptiste, Matthias, please feel free to reopen this bug if you can still reproduce with a sound juicer version later then 2.13.6.
Thanks a lot in advance!
