Description funaho 2006-01-23 19:51:03 UTC
Distribution: Fedora Core release 4.91 (Pre-FC5)
Package: Evolution-Data-Server
Severity: normal
Version: GNOME2.13.5 1.5.x
Gnome-Distributor: Red Hat, Inc
Synopsis: Evolution exchange backend crashes randomly
Bugzilla-Product: Evolution-Data-Server
Bugzilla-Component: Misc.
Bugzilla-Version: 1.5.x
BugBuddy-GnomeVersion: 2.0 (2.13.2)
Description:
Description of the crash:
The exchange backend seems to randomly crash. It is not necessary to be
actually using evolution at the time; simply having it running and set
to check mailboxes every x minutes will eventually cause a crash.

Steps to reproduce the crash:
1. Create exchange account in evolution
2. Do something to create periodic activity (send/receive mail, or check
mail)
3. Eventually exchange backend will crash

Expected Results:

Backend should not crash. :)

How often does this happen?

So far it's crashed twice today...seems to be every 2 or 3 hours.

I am experiencing the same thing on Debian Testing, with Evolution 2.4.2.1-1 and evolution-exchange 2.4.2-1 (debian package versions) Switching folders sometimes causes it to crash as well. But if I just leave it running, it will crash eventually. Here is my backtrace:
