GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 325523
Add the possibility to define a fixed number of file selected
Last modified: 2010-07-28 23:06:26 UTC
It could be great to have the possibility to set a fixed number of selected files or folders in the test conditions. It would be useful to implement a diff program that will require only 2 folder selected, no more, no less. Note: This report has been initially submitted on the old nautilus-actions bug tracker : http://www.grumz.net/node/30
Postponed to version 0.5 because of weird racing condition... :-/
Created attachment 56671 [details] [review] Patch for nautilus to have a correct list of files in the extensions Bug tracked by Nicolas "HappyPeng" Centa from #gnomefr (patch for nautilus attached) Problem comes from the function in nautilus which is responsible to pass the list of files to the extensions. it tests the uniqness of files by comparing their MIME type. The patch replace this comparison by a comparison between their URI. The patch can be applied on nautilus 2.10 and 2.12(CVS)
Here is the bugzilla report in the nautilus project : <a href="http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=314721">Bug #314721</a>
Hi, Starting with 2.31.0, a fixed number of files may now be defined in NACT. This is the first unstable release which implements the .desktop file specifications as described at http://www.nautilus-actions.org/?q=node/377. Regards Pierre
Updated: unstable release is 2.99.0
