Description Sebastien Bacher 2005-11-23 10:37:10 UTC
This bug has been opened here: https://bugzilla.ubuntu.com/show_bug.cgi?id=19914

"Printing the selected text of a message doesn't work properly, to reproduce:
Select some text in a message. Select Print, then change to the job tab and
select: "Selection". then press the print button. NOtice that the entire
message is printed.

In fact, as an interesting exercise, if you select "Selection" on the Jobs tab,
then switch tabs and back, it's unselected "Selection" and selected From Page: ..."

It happens with the 2.5.2 version

https://launchpad.net/distros/ubuntu/+source/evolution/+bug/26024 is the Ubuntu bug URL nowadays.
Comment 4 Matthew Barnes 2007-06-13 01:58:56 UTC
Tested this with 2.11.3, which is now using the GtkPrint infrastructure.

I can't find an option for printing selected text. Anyone know if this is supposed to be supported by GtkPrint?
Comment 5 Matthew Barnes 2007-07-23 13:56:11 UTC
Closing as OBSOLETE since GtkPrint does not offer a "print selection" option.
