Description Sebastien Bacher 2005-11-11 11:36:36 UTC
This bug has been opened here:
https://launchpad.net/distros/ubuntu/+source/rhythmbox/+bug/4177

"Users do not see a difference between files in nautlius, and playlists in
rhythmbox. DnD'ing a playlist to the trash applet should delete it."
Comment 1 Sebastien Bacher 2005-11-11 11:37:58 UTC
Doing a dnd to the trash seems to delete the files from the list but the
rhythmbox list is not updated.

This should implement this, except that it doesn't actually work. For some reason (probably me being dumb) the gtk_target_list_find call in rb_sourcelist_model_drag_data_get gives us TARGET_URIS instead of TARGET_DELETE.

The RBSource method may also want a better name than "trash source".

Aside from not working, the problem I have with this is that we don't provide the ability to restore a playlist from the trash.

In order to support this properly, we'd need to store each playlist in a separate file, and use directory monitoring to update the source list as files were trashed and restored.
