This is a pilot-link bug, not a gnome-pilot bug. Your pilot-link package is a pre-release version, and has probably been patched by redhat. I suggest you close this (not-a-bug) and resubmit to bugzilla.redhat.com.
I've responded down-stream at redhat's bugzilla. I'll close for the moment and then reopen and move to appropriate package as needed. (except pilot-link doesn't seem to be a gnome package.) I'll just close the bug.
