i've searched for bugs with component=evolution and target milestone=2.1.
then i chose "change several bugs at once".
then i checked the bugs i wanted to alter, changed the target milestone, added a
comment and checked "reassign bugs to owner of selected component".
i left component and all other fields to "--do_not_change--".

after that, i'm getting the error page: "You must specify a product to help
determine the new owner of these bugs."

expected behaviour: bugzilla should recognize the old and still valid component
(evolution) which i set to "--do_not_change--" and should therefore
automatically find out the owner.

works like a charm when not setting "reassign bugs to owner of selected
component", so that's the issue.

Bugzilla is stupid. Creates one SQL for changing multiple bugs at once. Has to
support MySQL, so niceties aren't supported. For reassigning, this means that
this bug can't be fixed.. Fixing this would mean rewriting Bugzilla, not going
to do that.

Suggest to file a bug against Bugzilla itself at https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/,
didn't see any existing bugs.
