Comment 1 oll 2005-08-17 14:41:21 UTC
Both dbus and evince are compiled with -g -ggdb but it looks like it's not
enough to have a detailed bt.
I am not an expert so feel free to ask me for other compilation options.

Appears to be affecting everyone on Breezy. Marking as NEW.
Comment 4 Nickolay V. Shmyrev 2005-08-19 05:05:16 UTC
Can you try to remove ev-application-service.h from unpacked sources before
build? Does it solve the problem?
Comment 5 oll 2005-08-19 07:29:06 UTC
Yes , it does indeed !
It compiles and executes with no problems but I don't know if dbus is working
(I see anyway messages with dbus-monitor) since I don't know what it is used for :-)
Comment 6 Kristian Høgsberg 2005-08-19 18:19:51 UTC
I discussed this with Colin on irc:

<krh> walters: but that bug suggests removing ev-application-service.h from the
evince tarball fixes the problem
<walters> ahh
<walters> that could easily be the source of the bug
<walters> you shouldn't EXTRA_DIST built sources
<krh> walters: is it a generated file that's out of sync with the fedora binding
tool?
<walters> i'd delete it from the EXTRA_DIST variable
<walters> yep
<krh> alright
<walters> this will not ever be a problem in the future; i implemented backwards
compatibility
<walters> but still...it's a bad idea to ship generated files in the tarball
