GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 300198
Setting signature for exchange account does not work
Last modified: 2005-10-14 09:56:41 UTC
Please describe the problem: Attempting to set the signature for my exchange account does not work. I go to the settings box, set the signature to the one I desire, and upon restarting Evolution the setting has been lost. Steps to reproduce: 1. Edit->Preferences->Mail Accounts->(Exchange account)->Edit 2. Set the signature in the drop down list. Hit OK. 3. "Changes to Exchange account configuration will take place after you quit and restart Evolution.". Restart Evolution. 4. Setting has been lost. Actual results: Expected results: Does this happen every time? Other information:
I'm experiencing the same problem. Evolution 2.2.2 running on FreeBSD talking to Exchange.
Same problem, evolution 2.0.4 running on Fedora FC3 with exchange connector. fedora-release-3-8 evolution-2.0.4-4 evolution-webcal-1.0.10-1 evolution-connector-2.0.4-1 evolution-data-server-1.0.4-3
One more data point: Using the same exchange server with another client (webmail) the preference sticks, i.e. composing email you get the right sig by default. It only happens with evolution client.
Changing the product and component to connector.

This seems to work fine with the build of Evolution from CVS HEAD. Hence marking as resolved.
