GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 207611
Lotus Notes Client support
Last modified: 2013-07-24 14:39:45 UTC
Description of Problem: ---> There is a great demand for a Lotus Notes Client replacement on the GNU/Linux world. I think that is why Evolution was created. But it could also be compatible with Lotus Notes, so that we can use it instead (and there's no native Lotus Notes Client for GNU/Linux!) Expected Results: ---> Reading Lotus Notes Mail on Evolution Mail, browsing Lotus Notes databases and Addressbooks via Evolution Additional Information: http://www.lotus.com

Has any progress been made on this one? Notes support would enable many ppl to ditch win32 desktops completely
Hi, Just to remind that users are still waiting for this feature, Please novell, make it real
reassigning jpr's old evolution\miscellaneous bugs to harish
Although IBM has published a new Notes version that will work on (GNU/)Linux, I thought I'd just drop a note to say that there are still people hoping for the possibility to connect to a Domino server from Evolution. Thanks,
Hi, An opensource client is always good, but I can not tell if it worth the effort or not ... I dont have so much time to investigate on this, but I can help to test... Anyway I'll collect some info on lotus on linux at : http://rzr.online.fr/q/lotus Regards
Lotus Notes is now also available for Linux, but I'd prefer to use Evolution as client.
For mail managing, Domino can act as an IMAP and LDAP server. So no need for a connector.
This could be done by anybody interested (for example currently evolution-kolab is being worked on as a connector for the Kolab groupware) but will not be done by the Evolution core developers. => WONTFIX, but feel free to write your own module if interested. Also see the last comment 10 here (thanks Vilain!). :)
