GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 201011
Ability to enable/disable filters
Last modified: 2008-06-09 10:51:18 UTC
I would like to be able to create a large set of filters, but decide which ones should be enabled/disabled. The only way I've seen to disable a filter is to delete it, which is a tad excessive :-)
can you give me an example of where/how/why this might be useful? One day you feel like filtering and another day you don't?? Perhaps what you need to do is make the filter more strict?
One example would be that you delete certain messages when they come in. It would be nice to disable it to make sure it works properly before enabling. Another thing that would be useful would be to have the ability to have the filter automatic on incoming, or only manual. PMMail uses this.

Hmm...this should not be difficult to implement. But surely cant target for 2.5, there are too many things already.
Created attachment 112275 [details] [review] proposed evo patch for evolution; Nothing much to say about this, maybe just one thing, the editing dialog is reused here and there, so the Enabled column is hidden by default.
Milan, looks fine. [I didn't compile it] So just test and commit it.
Committed to trunk. Committed revision 35620.
