Description Sebastien Bacher 2004-10-19 17:08:15 UTC
This bug has been reported here: https://bugzilla.ubuntu.com/2533

"If you attempt to use Nautilus to drag and drop a file from a remote host to a
local folder (I was using the desktop), it gives the following error:

Error "Generic error" while copying "sftp://[blah blah blah].

Would you like to continue?

This error message is uninformative -- it's actually a permissions problem. The
dialog would be more useful if it could explain the error: "Permission denied
reading sftp://[blah blah blah]" or whatever."
