Description Owen Taylor 2004-09-30 20:05:36 UTC
Currently, we seem to have hardcoded

 - tumble
 - duplex
 - print time

in the options dialog. While this is simple, it's not really
sufficient. Eventually, we need to either:

 - Have an awful autogenerated UI
 - Add lots more complex code to handle various combinations
of options that might be found in the PPD
 - Allow providing printer-specific glade files or similar

See, e.g.:

I've got some ideas to merge in after 2.10

Is there any progress on this front? I am really missing features to set
advanced print options on inkjet printers (resolution, density and in general
any quality level) on a per print job basis.

Please file new feature requests for printing in the printing component of gtk+
