This has been the case for the entire 2.x series, but is more noticeable with
typeahead.

How should search work on browse trees then? I don't think it makes much sense
to select a bogus row, because there's not match. What we can do is just
selecting row 0 when we 'quit' the search feature and nothing is selected in the
BROWSE tree.
