(Separated from #125993)

Copy & Paste only works in Conglomerate, and I can't
copy & paste from other apps into Conglomerate.

How to reproduce:
1. Select strings with mouse on other apps. (Mozilla, etc)
2. Middle click on Conglomerate, or press Paste button
3. Nothing happens.

You can paste with middle click on gedit.
This report might be extention request rather than bug report.

A partial fix is now in CVS: currently the code assumes that the text
is XML source - see bug #129731
